Indian River Tour

Dominica is known as the island of many rivers. The most beautiful one is certainly the Indian River, which became famous for filming movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3. Since it is the only one accessible for small vessels, we take you one mile upstream by rowing boat. As we go along, there is an interpretation of the flora, fauna, wildlife and history. We pass by a large variety of trees such as the Bwa Mang and White Ceddars as well as other tropical plants. Along the shores you can see a lot of crabs, lizards and birds. Quite often we get lucky and even see a flock of Jacko parrots. After rowing for at least an hour we get to a gorgeous bush bar where you get a lot of local, exotic rum punches, the most special one is the Dynamite.
